Biology Faculty members Sarah Diamond and Ryan Martin Mentioned in Hakai Magazine

Dr. Sarah Diamond and Dr. Ryan Martin were featured in an article published last month titled “Can Animals Evolve Fast Enough to Keep Up with Climate Change?” While we know evolution traditionally is a slow, tedious process, “‘Many creatures have a surprising capacity to cope,’ says Sarah Diamond.” “Even if animals don’t have the genetic diversity or hybridization potential to weather the coming warming, there are other ways they can adapt,” Adds Ryan Martin.
