CWRU undergrad publishes study on millipedes in Costa Rica

Shane Cooley (B.A. Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism, 2021) is the lead author of a new study, entitled “Microhabitat partitioning is driven by preferences, not competition, in two Costa Rican millipede species,” published in the Journal of Tropical Ecology. He conducted his research as part of a study abroad course offered by the Department of Biology. The course is taught by Senior Instructor Ron Oldfield, who served as the second author of the study.
