Qiannan Ma, a PhD candidate in the Atit lab, published her first paper from her graduate work in the lab in the Journal Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology. Her paper titled “Wnt Activation in Mature Dermal Adipocytes Leads to Lipodystrophy and Skin Fibrosis via ATGL-Dependent Lipolysis”, which highlights the role of fat cells in skin as key players for scarring in the skin.
