Arnold Caplan will be recognized for his groundbreaking innovations at the upcoming National Academy of Inventors’ 14th Annual Conference on June 26th. This is the highest professional distinction awarded solely to investors. While Arnold unfortunately passed in January 2024, his family will be invited to accept the medal in his honor.
The NAI Fellows Program was established “to highlight academic inventors who have demonstrated a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.”
Arnold was the first to discover mesenchymal stem cells, which is the basis for virtually all regenerative therapies.
