The new grant will focus on how embryonic skull bones above the head grow to cover the head and encase the brain reliably and if growth is dysregulated in diseases of the skull bones. Many undergrad students and recent graduate student Xioatian Feng collected the data during the pandemic in the Atit Lab. This grant is in collaboration with Dr. Harris at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dr. Holmes at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
