Biology Undergraduate Douglas Gurdak wins Fulbright U.S. Student Award

Douglas Gurdak, a B.S. biology student at Case Western Reserve University class of 2024, has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board to conduct public health research regarding the cancer-care model in Bolivia and Peru for the 2024-2025 academic year . As a current member of the lab of Dr. Corey Speers and two-time scholar in the CanSUR program through the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, Douglas looks forward to furthering his experience in the cancer research space in an international context.
