Dr. Emmitt Jolly was highlighted in a new book by Laura Meckler, who spoke at Cleveland City Club this past Wednesday. Meckler’s book “Dream Town: Shaker Heights and the Quest for Racial Equality” talks about the efforts of the community of Shaker Heights, Ohio to become a model for housing integration in the United States.
