Graduate Student Angie Lenard given the Eva L. Pancoast Memorial Fellowship

Congratulations goes out to Angie Lenard for being awarded the fellowship to travel to Japan and continue her work studying butterfly coloration. Angie’s dissertation research looks at how butterfly color is evolving in response to climatic warming and what consequences this has for butterfly performance. She focus on the cabbage white butterfly, and in Japan she will examine similar questions but in a subspecies of the cabbage white that has unique coloration specific to that region.
