Aquatic Biology, Social Distancing Style

An update from Deb Harris, instructor of BIOL 339, Aquatic Biology Lab.

Aquatic Bio involves trips to the University Farm. To accommodate bussing to the farm, the students were divided into two groups (allowing students to choose which group).   For the in-lab lessons their microscope stations are spread out and sanitized before and after use.  During field learning we wear masks and gloves while maintaining physical distance.  For help identifying organisms I try to limit the time I am within six feet of a student.  Being outside has also been beneficial for everyone!  The students have all been respectful of all of the protective measures needed to keep everyone safe!
