Kacey Cope, CWRU alum, publishes in General and Comparative Endocrinology

Kacey Cope published a paper, “Exposure to artificial light at night during the larval stage has delayed effects on juvenile corticosterone concentration in American toads, Anaxyrus americanus” in the journal General and Comparative Endocrinology (link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ygcen.2020.113508) in May 2020.  This work was completed while Dr. Cope was a PhD candidate in Dr. Michael Benard’s lab, and was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Mandi Schook who was at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo (currently at Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment).  Dr. Cope is now an assistant professor at West Virginia Wesleyan University (https://kdananay.wixsite.com/kdananay/bio).
