Two Biology students receive honorable mentions for NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.

Two CWRU Biology students received honorable mentions: Alexis Thornburg (’20) and Jeanette Sullivan (’19). Alexis is completing her research in Dr. Nicole Crown’s Lab and Jeanette, who graduated in fall of 2019 did her research with Dr. Alan Levine. This is a huge accomplishment for our students and we offer our congratulations on their effort and hard work.
